Day 9 - Get 'er done!

7:59 am - Pat's first appointment is at 10 today so we all slept in a bit. One perk to working for yourself, you get to listen to your body when it says to stay in bed ;)

As usual, I have a ton of work on top of whatever today brings. My daughter has a planned play date at our house this afternoon, so I do not plan to get much done during that time. I hope to get a walk in while the friend is here. We will have to see, maybe I will go before Pat leaves this morning...

8:43 am - I did it! The walk is done and out of the way all by 9 am. Decided to just get it out of the way. I am so glad I did, the mountain was cool but tolerable and the birds were all out enjoying the just above freezing temps. In one tree I saw mourning doves, pigeons, Robins and some Spotted Towees. There are quiet a few mushrooms still around. Below is a picture I took a couple of years ago of a mushroom on the same trail. Now onto cleaning the house, breakfast and bookkeeping. I wonder what the day has in store for us?
