Fishing at the pond

Yesterday the family took a quick fishing trip to a local pond so Alyssa could do a little fishing. It was beautiful. Here are the pictures...

I think that this is a Hooded Merganser, what do you think? They were so fun to watch. They would go under water, for quiet some time, and then pop back up somewhere completely different then where they went under.

I think this is an Egret. What do you think? He was hanging out in the trees...

...every once in a while he would fly around.

THERE WERE ALL THESE BIRDS BUT NO FISH!
